👮‍♂️ Action Taken at Castle Gardens 👮‍♀️

We’ve recently received reports from members of the public about drug use and dealing taking place in Castle Gardens, particularly during the mid‑morning period.

Yesterday, officers from the Riverside beat team attended the area and observed a male involved in a suspected drug deal. He was promptly arrested for drug offences. Following this, officers carried out a search at his address, where a significant quantity of Class A drugs was discovered (more than shown in the images), along with items linked to the supply of those drugs.

After a 19‑hour shift, the team ensured the suspect was charged and remanded. He now faces offences including:
Possession of Class B drugs
Possession with intent to supply Class A drugs (x2)
Obstructing police
